assignment 2:
Natural Structure. Using bamboo as our inspiration, we were required to create a 6 image story line. interesting. By this assignment, we were taught on how to use the 3 Ps as our guideline. Using nature(place), we as studentys(people) which is God's creation to gain knowledge(principles).
Later, in groups of 6, we had to stumble into somewhere out of no where to search for bamboo, then, we are given time to observe and learn from Mother Nature. We were required to learn about joints, how bamboo makes connections, clusters, visual joints, blending into and standing out at the same time among the other plants....i love bamboo!!! wait till you hear my analysis or exposure about the event. around 2pm
we reached the site and were instructed to take out our sketch pads. oMG, whats next???..."given 5 minutes, draw a tree", there i thought.great, life sketch, something which i intend to work on and improve..great! den i heard 'given 2 minutes, sketch the cow"..okok...just while i was finishing, i heard another 'given 1 minute, sketch that log".."given 20 seconds, sketch 2 leafs", "given 20 seconds, find a partner and draw her standing"..'given 20 seconds draw her lying down..den squating down.." next.." 10 seconds,draw 10 people, 20 people, 40 people, everyone!!!"
this task was crazy! i was like ....argh,.frustration and +imagine yourself standing under the scorching, blazing sun! i really do not intend to go darker...haiz...but i have to say, i really enjoyed this task, it like teaches us to adapt and make it work. I mean in the real world, you may be given impossible tasks in a limited time. the weak would give up but the strong would push through. Its called using intimidation as your motivation!..
next next...search for your bamboo...gosh! my group went to the wrong paths twice!! i thought that by taking the smaller route, the path less taken by, maybe we would stumble into something that would keep my jaw dropped...once, we were led to a barren site, next we went up the mountain..like virtually climbing..until finally we followed the majority and found the bamboo!!!

though its tiring, but its an adventure at least??? haha..i hav the again psyche myself: i love adventures!! Imagine Indiana Jones...or a herbalist looking for a rare herb to save humanity...i have the intention to look for bamboo(intention)..and i climbed far and high(act)..though i misled my team twice..its an experience..and at least i had fun??..haha...in this case, fun is my (product)!
ohya! there were loads of cow dung everywhere..like..haizzzz..i wonder how some people use dried dung to build their houses...(something i read before)...its like gross..but at situations like thus..you ought to push yourself and make it work!

choose 1 out of 3 objects and like draw it 40 times overlapping onto one another ...erm..i did some errors and did the sketch 3 times..oh well...
I LOVE ARCHITECTURE, especially if it comes along with an exotic adventure..im going gaga over it.haha
